Meet Terrence Lee
Terrence Lee became a part of the WMDT news team in June 2008. He currently anchors the 6 and 11pm
newscasts on WMDT and the 10PM newscast on the CW3 on weekends. He works out in the field,
reporting and bringing Delmarva’s biggest stories to the forefront.
Terrence graduated magna cum laude from Temple University in May 2008 with a degree in
communications. While at Temple, Terrence interned at two top five market television stations: KYW-TV
and WTXF. He played many roles on Temple Update, the student-run news program, appearing on-air and
working behind the scenes.
Growing up in Calvert County, Maryland, Terrence is a small town boy at heart. When he is not a work,
Terrence enjoys dancing, swimming, playing tennis and spending time with his family.
When he was 13 years old, doctors found a tumor in Terrence’s stomach. It turned out to be benign but the
experience had already changed his outlook on life. He lives everyday to the fullest and that is what attracted
him to a career in journalism, “You wake up not knowing what's in store, I meet inspiring people everyday
and it doesn’t hurt that I learn something new each and every day.”

Intrigued by her parents social ballroom dance lessons she started taking ballroom dancing at the age of 9. From that time Amanda knew ballroom dancing would be her life path. Amanda Champion in both International Latin & Standard , Ohio Star Ball Now the world pro - am championships Ladies Pro - Am Champion in both International Latin & Standard , Ohio Star Ball Now the world pro - am championships Ladies Pro - Am Adult Standard Champion and US National Grand Finalist in International Standard, Latin and American Smooth. Before Adult Standard Champion and US National Grand Finalist in International Standard, Latin and American Smooth. Before turning professional Amanda went undefeated in the International Standard for over a year. In 1996 Amanda decided to turn professional and began teaching. Amanda competed in the Professional International Standard division from 1996 - 2001. Some of her titles included 2000 & 2001 US PROFESSIONAL RISING STAR STANDARD GRAND FINALIST 2001SOUTHEASTERN US RISING STAR PROFESSIONAL CHAMPION 2000 DANCE SPORT MONTREAL RISING STAR STANDARD CHAMPION Amanda has been teaching for 14 years . She is proud to have instructed at some of the largest dance schools on the East Coast .She is also the former coach of the University of Delaware & Princeton University Dance Teams. In 2001 Amanda decided to retire from professional competition. At that time she also returned back to her native Eastern Shore of Maryland and began instructing in Easton. In the past 8 years she has built her business"Dancing on the shore" which has now expanded to be in 5 locations and 4 instructors. Amanda is also President of the Easton's USA dance chapter. Amanda resides in Greensboro, MD with her husband Earnest. |
